PESHAWAR: The inspection team of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa tourism department examined restaurants in the city and closed some for lacking licences and registration documents. “The raiding team visited hotels and restaurants in Hayatabad and Ring Road,” said a controller, Muhammad Arabi on Saturday. “The restaurants sealed for not having licences included Namkeen Restaurant near Hayatabad, Abshar Fish Corner opposite the Total Pump on Ring Road and Sakoon Restaurant and Barbeque near Hayatabad Bridge.” The official said all the unregistered hotels, restaurants, travel agencies and rent-a-car services were directed to register their businesses with the department within seven days otherwise their premises would be sealed.
