CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte Christian Knights stayed hot, picking up their sixth win in their last seven games, defeating Providence Day 27-7 to wrap up the regular season.
Charlotte Christian’s Elijah Deveaux opened the scoring early in the second quarter with a one-yard touchdown plunge, giving Christian a 6-0 lead. The Knights threatened again in the quarter, but failed to capitalize on a 43-yard field goal attempt.
In the second half, Deveaux found the endzone again to give his team a 13-0 lead. Charlotte Christian led 27-0 before a Providence Day score put the Chargers on the board late in the fourth quarter.
