Anthony Boston cranked out a couple of long touchdown runs and Danquarian Fields caught a pair of touchdown passes from Kordel Cortez as Arcadia slipped by Cedar Creek 34-32 on Friday in District 1-1A play.

The Cougars (5-4, 4-2) lost despite four touchdown tosses from Huff McIntosh, including three to Tanner Disotell covering 5, 12 and 67 yards. Boston scored twice for Arcadia (6-3, 3-3) on runs of 40 and 43 yards. Denzel Jackson added a 55-yard fumble return for a score for the Hornets.

Calvary 41, Lakeside 0: At Sibley, Chanse Sylvie returned a Lakeside interception 55 yards for a score in the first quarter to get the Cavs off and running in the District 1-2A contest.

Quarterback Jake Bartley hit Kyle Jones and David Fitzwater for touchdown throws, while Kordavion Washington scored on a 2-yard run for the Cavs (7-2, 4-0). Trevor Stevens added field goals of 38 and 40 yards.

Lakeside fell to 0-9 overall and 0-4 in district play.

Alexandria 64 Natchitoches Central 34: At Natchitoches, in one of the highest scoring games of the season, Alexandria (6-3, 2-2) got past the Chiefs (5-4, 1-3) in a key District 2-5A contest.

Ouachita 48, Ruston 21: At Monroe, Devion Warren ran for three scores and caught one touchdown pass as the Lions (5-3, 3-1) handled the Bearcats in the District 2-5A contest.

Ruston turned the ball over six times, four of which led to Ouachita touchdowns. Qayshon Thurman’s 17 carries for 172 yards and two touchdowns was one of few bright spots for the Bearcats (5-4, 2-2).

Red River 40, North Caddo 14: At Vivian, the Bulldogs (6-3, 3-1) woke up big time in rolling past the Rebels (4-5, 2-2) in the District 1-2A matchup.

Haynesville 56, Grambling 8: At Haynesville, the Golden Tors showed who’s boss in District 1-1A with the easy home victory.

St. Mary’s 41, LaSalle 7: At Olla, the top ranked Tigers got touchdowns from six different people in winning the district contest. Bailey Shelton, Ryan Cunningham, Warner Lee, Donovan Ohnoutka, Aaron Howell and Garren Mitchell scored for St. Mary’s.

Homer 48, Ringgold 22: At Ringgold, the Pelicans picked up their second win of the season in climbing to 2-7, 1-5 in District 1-1A. Ringgold fell to 3-6 overall and 0-6 in league play.

Logansport 26, Block 0: At Jonesville, Debell Crawford rushed for 110 yards and scored on runs of 3 and 45 yards for the Tigers. Travion Daughtry had a 7-yard TD reception from Dalton Shaw and Freddie Williams had a 30-yard pass reception for a score.

D’Arbonne Woods 26, Plain Dealing 6: At Farmerville, the Timberwolves (5-3, 5-1) picked up a big win versus the Lions (3-6, 2-4) in the District 1-1A contest.

Many 54, Rosepine 0: At Many, the Tigers left little doubt in scoring at will over Rosepine, which has yet to win a district contest this fall. The No. 2 Tigers climbed to 8-1 overall and 4-0 in the league.
