Here’s something you hardly ever see: Allen (Texas) trailed during Thursday night’s game against Plano West (Plano, Texas).
But not for long — the end result was the same as the previous 51 games the Eagles have played.
After falling behind 10-7 late in the first quarter, No. 3 Allen scored the next 55 unanswered points for a 62-10 victory. Allen posted a season high in points, clinched at least a share of the 6-6A title and won its 52nd consecutive game.
The Eagles still have not been behind in the second half this season.
