Holy Trinity came out with a brand new line-up against Avon Park, winning 25-19, 25-13, 25-7 in a Class 4A regional quarterfinal Wednesday night.
“I think with this new lineup we actually can accomplish a lot more,” team captain Hailey Vice said. “So I feel really comfortable going in. Whatever team we play, I feel ready for it.”
Holy Trinity will go on to face the winner of the West Shore-Lake Placid game in regional semifinal play.
“For us, it continues to be about ball control and efficiency,” said coach Pete Klonowski. “If we can control the first contact, we can run a solid offense. We have to make sure we’re very efficient with that next contact.”
