Hailey Olson added 43 set assists and a pair of aces, while Emily VanBockern had 43 digs. The Warriors are 16-16. O’Gorman (18-12) was led by Grace Wallin, who finished with eight kills and two aces. Grace Ortman had two blocks, Kassidy Skuza had 26 assists and Emily Kolbeck had 22 digs. It was the second consecutive loss for the Knights.
Roosevelt def. Lincoln 22-25, 26-24, 25-15, 18-25, 15-5 at Roosevelt — Roosevelt picked up nine kills apiece from Riley Boyd and Maddie Simmons, plus eight more from Kalei Wilson to finish the season at 14-14. Bailey Lamb led her team with 37 assists, and Riley Kooima had 29 digs. Boyd also added eight blocks. Stats were not provided for Lincoln, which is 13-15.
Brandon Valley def. Watertown 25-16, 16-25, 25-21, 25-17 in Brandon — Brandon Valley won its final match before district play, taking down Brandon Valley in four sets. The Lynx (16-4) picked up a match-high 31 digs from Taylor Thorson, and 16 more from Sommer West. Hannah Paauw had 13 kills and six blocks, while Becca Koehn had three blocks and 38 assists. Elsie Zajicek finished with 10 kills and four blocks. Watertown (12-8) had 23 digs from Tatum Hemiller, and a pair of blocks from Macy Denzer and Sydney Dale. Denzer also added 16 kills, Danielle Gottsleben had 12. It takes on Roosevelt next Tuesday.
Lennox def. Canton 25-11, 25-10, 25-9 in Canton — With six kills from Jordan Kruse and four apiece from Amanda Timerman and Rachel Jensen, Lennox took down Canton. Haley Hagedorn had 14 digs and nine assists for the Orioles, who snapped a four-match skid to improve to 7-14. Hagedorn also had six aces, while Callie Luke had a pair. Mary Kate Beachler had five kills and an ace, and Bailey Smith added an ace for Canton (1-24). Rachel Ball had seven digs, while Katie Glenn added five.
Madison def. Tea Area, 25-19, 25-21, 25-13 in Madison — Serena Hopf had 11 kills, two aces and nine digs to lift Madison to a three-set sweep of Tea. The Bulldogs (20-8) also picked up 10 kills each from Olivia Rud and Jessi Giles. Giles added a solo block and nine digs, while Rud tacked on three solo blocks. Valorie Nowstrup had 10 digs, Marisa Eimers with a team-high three aces. Madison begins District play Tuesday. For Tea (11-4), Amanda Carlson had nine kills and a block, Sidney Clayberg had an ace and 16 assists and Cari Hansen had nine digs. Tea faces Parkston in Tea on Thursday.
