The Fairview High School volleyball team swept Rocky Mountain 25-14, 25-22, 29-27 at home to win the Front Range League title on Tuesday night.
The Lobos were ranked No. 7 in Class 5A and riding a nine-match winning streak entering the league champion-deciding matchup.
Macie Linne led Rocky Mountain with nine kills while Catherine Beard added six. Annika Larson recorded 13 digs and Morgan Weatherwax dished out 25 assists.
Rocky Mountain finishes its regular season with a 15-3 overall record, 11-1 in FRL play.
FORT COLLINS 3, POUDRE 1 – The Lambkins defeated the Impalas 25-18, 25-19, 23-25, 25-17 in a crosstown match at home.
Fort Collins’ Gracyn Vogesser and Sofia Boyer led with 11 kills each while Devin Hunt added nine.
The Lambkins improve to 10-8, 7-5 FRL. The Impalas fall to 13-10, 6-6 FRL.
FOSSIL RIDGE 3, BOULDER 0 – The SaberCats posted a 25-15, 25-20, 25-19 sweep on the road.
Riley Zuhn led with nine kills and three blocks, Lauren Rice had 13 digs and Reagan Warner dished out 16 assists.
Fossil Ridge improves to 13-6, 9-3 FRL; finishing third in the league behind Rocky Mountain.
WINDSOR 3, ERIE 1 – The No. 7 Wizards (4A) won at home in four sets; 15-25, 25-16, 25-21, 25-20 in their regular-season finale.
Kylie Hurst led with 13 kills and Lacey Garcia posted a match-high 27 digs.
Windsor finishes as the Tri-Valley League runner-up behind No. 6 Holy Family. The Wizards improve to 15-4, 11-3 TVL.
