St. Xavier’s Clayton Forde, the No. 2 senior male swimmer in the state and No. 1 in the Louisville area per collegeswimming.com, committed to the University of Georgia on Sunday night, choosing the Bulldogs over Florida, Indiana, Missouri and North Carolina.
Forde has qualifying times for the U.S. winter nationals and junior nationals and is close to qualifying for the 2016 Olympic Trials.
Additionally, Assumption’s Blakeley Moorman has committed to Vanderbilt over Ohio University and Miami of Ohio, and Lee Bradley of Collegiate has committed to William & Mary over Bucknell.
