Four local high school boys soccer teams are in the playoffs and three will open at home.
The highest seeded team is Liberty Common, with the undefeated Eagles coming in as the No. 2 seed in Class 3A in the brackets released on Sunday.
Liberty Common (14-0-1) will host No. 31 Bruce Randolph (6-8-1) in the first round Friday. The winner will play in the second round Saturday against the winner of No. 15 Denver Christian and No. 18 Coal Ridge.
Three Fort Collins schools made the 5A playoffs.
Fort Collins (10-4-1) is seeded highest among the locals in 5A. The Lambkins are No. 14 and will host No. 19 Denver East (7-8) in Thursday’s first round. The winner will play the winner of No. 3 Arvada West and No. 30 Grand Junction in the second round Nov. 4.
Fossil Ridge (8-5-2) is the No. 15 seed and will host No. 18 Ralston Valley (9-5-1) on Thursday. The winner will face the winner of No. 2 Broomfield and No. 31 Smoky Hill in the second round.
Rocky Mountain (8-5-2) will head on the road. The Lobos are the No. 17 seed and will play at No. 16 Rangeview (9-2-4) on Thursday. The winner will play the winner of No. 1 Fairview and No. 32 Gateway in the second round.
First round times haven’t been set.
