Allen (Texas) keeps on rolling.
Despite weather delays, No. 3 Allen posted a 48-0 victory Friday against Flower Mound to run its winning streak to 51 consecutive games. The game was voted by the fans as the Super 25 Game of the Week.
While it might not look like it from the final score, Flower Mound (1-8) actually held Allen scoreless in the first quarter. That is the first time the Eagles (8-0) have gone without a point in a first quarter this season and was only the fourth scoreless quarter of the season, according to the Dallas Morning News.
