6 more join 1,000-yard club | USA Today High School Sports

Six more Western North Carolina football players went over the 1,000-yard mark in games played Friday.

Asheville High junior Devon Davidson (1,100 yards) and North Henderson senior Trevor Craft (1,081) accomplished the feat in passing, while the newest 1,000-yard rushers in the mountains are Franklin senior Kelton Lowry (1,276 yards), Murphy sophomore Kadrian McRae (1,074), Tuscola junior Caleb Ferguson (1,028) and Andrews senior Dillan Ward (1,023).

In all, there are now 25 WNC players who have amassed more than 1,000 yards in passing, rushing or receiving this season. They are in alphabetical order:
