Madison 49, Milbank 12 in Madison—The Bulldogs faced off in a contest that saw Class 11A No. 1 Madison cruise to victory after Brodie Frederiksen ran a 1-yard touchdown eight seconds into the first quarter.  Frederiksen, who scored six touchdowns for Madison including a 50-yard kick return, rushed for a total of 188 yards on 15 attempts.  Mitch Hansen passed 3-for-6 for a total of 24 yards.  An interception by Jaxon Janke put another touchdown in the Madison column.  A 49-yard kick return by Kyle Montag and an interception by Riley Wollschlager led a scoreless Milbank to respond with two touchdowns in the third quarter, but Madison’s lead proved insurmountable.

Alester-Hudson 50, Centerville 0 in Alcester—Senior Mitchell Johnson ran three touchdowns for Alcester-Hudson in the first quarter, securing an early lead against the scoreless Tornadoes.  Johnson rushed a total of 148 yards on 11 attempts while Grant Johnson passed 2-fo-2 for 55 yards and a touchdown.  Samuel Jensen caught two passes for a total of 55 yards.

Mount Vernon-Plankinton 41, Garretson 6 in Mt. Vernon—Mount Vernon-Plankinton put up 465 total offensive yards, burying Garretson under a 35-point lead during the first half.  Hayden Schmidt rushed for 162 yards on six attempts, followed by Devin Rihanek with 85 yards on six attempts.  Garretson’s Aaron Hoon had 6.5 tackles and MVP’s Tanner Risseeuw had seven.

Britton-Hecla 39, Rosholt 16 in Britton—Britton-Hecla racked up 469 offensive yards with Tayon Hawkins rushing for 141 yards and Stanley Haskins rushing for 123 yards.  Cully Olson caught two passes for 84 yards.  Rosholt’s Quentin Hemmah rushed for 241 yards on 38 attempts and led the night with 9.5 tackles.
