Rescue workers shift the injured to nearby hospitals; CM Sindh takes notice of incident
At least 20 people were killed and several others injured when a suicide bomber targeted a busy road in Jacobabad on Friday, police said.
Rescue teams reached Quetta road – the site of the attack – and began shifting the injured to nearby hospitals, Express News reported.
According to deputy superintendent police, the body of a suspected suicide bomber was found from the scene.
CM Sindh takes notice
Taking notice of the incident, Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah directed IG Sindh to submit a report of the incident.
He also called for providing immedate medical relief to those injured.
On Thursday, a suicide bomber blew himself up in a mosque killing at least 10 Shia Muslims, including six children in Bagh tehsil of Kachhi district, 300kms from Quetta.

The attack took place as Shias gathered at the mosque to observe Muharram.
“At least 10 people were killed and 12 others were wounded after a suicide bomber blew himself up at a Shia mosque,” provincial home minister Sarfraz Bugti had told AFP.
Local administration official Mohammad Waseem had also confirmed the attack and death toll.
