Emily Wolak scored the game winner assisted by Danielle Hartman with 1:36 remaining in the second sudden death overtime to help lift No. 7 Aquinas 2-1 over No. 10 Brockport in the first round of a Section V Class A girls sectional soccer game on Wednesday.



Alana Piano scored the first goal assisted by Lauren Begy for the Little Irish (10-5-2).

Kelsey Brinkel had five saves in goal for Aquinas.

Adrianna VanCuyck had two goals and two assists for Wayne (16-1).

Bailey Jenkins had four saves in the shutout for the Eagles.

Natalie Domina scored the game tying goal for Lima Christian.

Erica D’Ambrosio tallied two goals in the win for Northstar (9-6-2).

Sydney Uthe had 10 kills and two aces and Molly Taylor added 25 assists for HF-L (10-5).

Ally Cappon had eight kills and Marielle Buss added four kills and nine digs for Hilton (11-6).
