Two high school swimmers from Louisville announced their college commitments this week.
Christian Academy’s Cameron Brown committed to Alabama after also considering Kentucky, North Carolina and Louisville.
Brown is the No. 7-ranked senior recruit in Kentucky according to collegeswimming.com. She finished fourth in the 500-yard freestyle and fifth in the 200 freestyle at last season’s state championships.
Sacred Heart’s Hannah Fuchs committed to Miami (Ohio) after also considering Vanderbilt, Ohio and Louisville.
Fuchs is the No. 12-ranked senior recruit in Kentucky according to collegeswimming.com. She finished seventh in the 200 individual medley and eighth in the 100 breaststroke at last season’s state championships.
