Area high school cross country athletes will make their bids to race among the top runners in the state when the Michigan High School Athletic Association regionals begin Oct. 30-31.
But first there is the business of finishing among the best runners in their respective leagues, as conference meets dot the area this Saturday.

At Cornwell’s Turkeyville in Marshall, the host Redhawks will be joined by Harper Creek, Pennfield and Coldwater for the Interstate Eight Conference Meet. That event kicks off at 10 a.m.
