These aren’t the droids you’re looking for.
But they are the high school football recruits who have committed to Oregon State.
Unless you’ve been Rip Van Winkling it for the past 24 hours, you’ve probably seen the trailer for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” which debuted during Monday Night Football. In a clever bit of Photoshopping, the Beavers sent a mock “Star Wars” movie poster with their 11 current commits cropped into Jedi robes along with the tagline: “Who’s next?”
Speaking of edits..Oregon State commits just got this in time for the Star Wars trailer. Hilarious and awesome pic.twitter.com/7rEauXfbIc

Unlike “The Force Awakens,” which is set to hit theaters on Dec. 18, Oregon State’s version of a new hope will drop on National Signing Day. The young Jedis: Chandler (Ariz.) QB Mason Moran; Auburndale (Fla.) running back Artavis Pierce; Sealy (Texas) athlete Christian Wallace; wide receivers Tyson Penn of Bellevue (Wash.), Trevon Bradford of Oregon City (Ore.) and Javonte Ferguson of Oakleaf (Orange Park, Fla.); Lebanon (Ore.) tight end John Bates; San Marcos (Calif.) defensive end Joah Robinett; and safeties Shurod Thompson of Liberty (Brentwood, Calif.), Emony Robinson of Gresham (Ore.) and Michael Johnson of Mt. San Antonio College (Walnut, Calif.). Thompson and Wallace are considered four-star recruits by 247sports.com.
