Former Edneyville/North Henderson athletic director and football coach Mac Cumbo was one of eight future NCHSAA Hall of Famers who were recognized at halftime of Saturday’s North Carolina-Wake Forest football game in Chapel Hill.

The newest class of Hall of Fame inductees for the North Carolina High School Athletic Association was recognized at halftime of the North Carolina-Wake Forest game at Kenan Stadium, which was designated as NCHSAA Day by the university. The official induction banquet and ceremonies will take place in April at the Friday Center in Chapel Hill.
In the individual picture: at left is Maurice Green, superintendent of the Guilford County schools and president of the NCHSAA, and at right is Que Tucker, interim commissioner of the NCHSAA.
