Devin Duvernary, an Under Armour All-American from Sachse, Texas, was ejected for targeting while making a block downfield in the third quarter Friday night.
The flag negated a 59-yard touchdown pass and Rockwall made an interception on the next play and scored on the ensuing possession, according to the Dallas Morning News. Rockwall went on to win the game, 58-47, behind six touchdown passes from Will Reed.
Duvernay, ranked No. 52 overall and as the No. 3 wide receiver prospect in the nation by ESPN.com, had three catches for 50 yards before his ejection.
