Steelers Bring New Hope to the Burgh | USA Today High School Sports

After the Steelers win in San Diego on Monday night, things are starting to looking up for the Black and Gold nation.  With Martavis Bryant looking to be ready for his first action on Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals and Big Ben seeming hopeful to be ready soon, Steelers fans have a lot to cheer for. With a record of 3-2 and Michael Vick taking the reins of the Steelers to cover for Ben, things could be worse. With the second best record in the AFC North, the Steelers look to make headway on catching up to the 5-0 Cincinnati Bengals, who are leading the division.

CV is buzzing with the excitement of maybe a possible Steeler’s playoff run. Junior Mark Kelly thinks that is a reasonable possibility. “The Steelers keep learning from their mistakes each week which is showing progress which is good because they will be facing some hard teams over the next five game stretch.”

This Sunday October 18, they will be playing the Arizona Cardinals who are firing on all cylinders with a power packed defense. After that, they travel to Kansas City to play against the Chiefs. Returning home to play division rival Cincinnati, who are led by the pass attack of Andy Dalton. Following the Bengals, they come to the Oakland Raiders based heavily on the pass game and Amari Cooper from Alabama keeping his great rookie season going. Lastly before the bye week they play the Cleveland Browns.

CV is behind you Steelers Nation, keep the wins coming!
