It was a disappointing night for No. 5 DeMatha (Hyattsville, Md.) as the Stags fell to Gonzaga (Washington), 24-14, in a nationally televised showdown. But DeMatha’s Lorenzo Harrison had the play of the night on a 92-yard touchdown in the first quarter.
After running straight into the line, the senior Maryland commit freed himself with a nice spin move and bounced outside. He flashed speed to get to midfield and then made three more defenders miss on his way to the end zone.
