A season full of blowouts continued Friday night in Northern Nevada high school football, which featured a number of one-sided games.
All three High Desert League games were lopsided, with Reed, Reno and McQueen all scoring big wins. In the Sierra League, both Carson and Damonte Ranch broke 50 points in convincing victories.
The Raiders (8-0, 3-0 HDL) and the Senators (7-1, 3-0 Sierra) kept their league leads intact with their wins.
In Division I-A, Wooster got a shutout against Dayton, and Fallon and Elko both won by large margins. Fernley came back to beat Truckee, 28-14, to set up a showdown against Fallon next week with the regional title possibly in the balance.
The game of the night came in Division III, where Battle Mountain got past Pershing County, 42-36, in three overtimes.
