Maybe it should come as no surprise.
Pisgah-Tuscola is looking like it might win a national voting competition for the country’s best high school football rivalry of the week.
The vote is being conducted by the Great American Rivalry Series which will be in Waynesville for Friday’s 7:30 p.m. game between the Black Bears and Mountaineers.
Online voters have until Friday at 5 p.m. to let their voices be heard at this link.
As of 12:30 p.m., the Haywood County game had 37,277 votes with the matchup between Warner-Robins (Ga.) and Northside (Ga.) in second place with 31,694 votes.
