Washington knocked off the top dog in Class AA, Division 2, handing Harrisburg its first loss, 25-22, 24-26, 25-22, 25-16. Washington (11-9) was led in kills by Peyton Rymerson (12) and Jamie Kayl (11). Hailey Olson had 32 set assists and three aces, while Kirsten Wiseman had seven blocks. Emily VanBockern finished with 30 digs. Harrisburg (13-1) picked up 13 kills, six blocks and four aces from Sam Slaughter. Avery Thorson had 17 assists and Rachel Nelson had 17 digs. The Tigers welcome Brookings on Thursday, while the Warriors head to Sioux City Heelan on Saturday.

O’Gorman def. Roosevelt 22-25, 25-19, 28-26, 25-13 at O’Gorman — Emily Kolbeck and Rylee Smith both had four aces and O’Gorman topped Roosevelt in four sets. The Rough Riders (11-9) got 24 total kills from Alex Anderson (12) and Smith (12). Grace Ortmann had four blocks and Grace Wallin had 30 digs. O’Gorman (11-9) welcomes Brandon Valley on Thursday. Roosevelt (12-10) welcomes Aberdeen Central on Saturday.

Sioux Falls Christian def. Tri-Valley 25-20, 25-17, 25-20 in Tri-Valley — Ellie Voss (5) and Emily Strasser (4) combined for nine aces to lead SFC to a road win. The Chargers (17-4) also got 12 kills from Voss and 10 digs from Strasser. Shelby Zomermaand had nine digs and Kylee VanEgdom had nine kills. On the Tri-Valley (11-8) side, Carter Hausmann had six digs, and Brooke Kulzer had four solo blocks. Brooke Kulzer had eight kills, and Nikole Krump added five. Sioux Falls Christian welcomes Dell Rapids on Thursday.

Hanson def. Menno 25-14, 25-16, 25-10 in Hanson — Tara Spender had five kills, two blocks and six digs, but it wasn’t enough for Menno, which dropped to 8-10 on the year following a loss to Hanson. The Beavers (18-5, 4-0) scored 22 kills and a pair of blocks from Kynedi Cheeseman, and Hannah Marquardt received her 1,000th career dig. Courtnee Edelman had a match-high 12 digs for Menno, and Paige Heckenlaible had three blocks. Marissa Buechler had a kill and eight digs. The Wolves head to Mitchell on Thursday.

The Orioles were led in digs by Taylor Weeldreyer with 15, and Callie Luke with 12. Jordan Kruse had five kills and four blocks, while Courney Weeldreyer posted three kills, three blocks and three aces. Lennox (4-10) faces Viborg on Thursday.

Brandon Valley def. Yankton25-18, 25-22, 25-16​ in Yankton — Brandon Valley ran its win streak to 11 games with a win over Yankton. Hanna Jellema led the Lynx with nine kills, while Elsie Zajicek added seven of her own to go with a team-high three blocks. Sommer West had eight digs. BV (14-1) returns to action Thursday at O’Gorman.

Estelline def. Dell Rapids St. Mary 25-21, 25-13, 25-22 in Dell Rapids — With 10 aces from Makensie Seathoff, Estelline escaped Dell Rapids with a three-set victory. The Cardinals (2-15) picked up a pair of aces from Kayla Scherff, and five digs each from Haley Michel and Jackie Walles.
