Katie Wall had a goal and an assist to lead host Roy C. Ketcham High School over Carmel, 2-1, in field hockey on Tuesday. .

Julia McDaniels scored off a feed from Wall 10 minutes in to put the Indians on the board, and Wall later added the deciding second goal.

“We had a great first half,” Ketcham coach Erin Mulligan said. “Bea Caparaz did a great job communicating and moving the ball up the field with Katie (Wall) and Julia McDaniels. Kelsey Mulligan had a good defensive game. Things continue to come together and improve.”

John Jay 3, Pine Plains 0 — Samantha DeCosta scored twice in the first half to lead visiting John Jay (9-4-1). Jenna Fusco added a goal, and Nicole Miller, Cailin Bahret and Jessica Lasaponara each had an assist. Meghan Murray made four saves in the shut out.

Amanda Simmons made 19 saves for Pine Plains (6-6-1).

“We had a rough start to the season but the girls refused to put their heads down,” Patriots coach Kristen Perry said of the six-game win streak. “This turnaround is proof that good things come to those who work for it.”

John Jay hosts Ketcham at 4:15 p.m. Thursday.

Red Hook 3, Ellenville 0 — Ally McCrudden, Maddy Hackett and Sarah Timperio each scored a goal and Olivia Ranieri made 12 saves for visiting Red Hook.

McCrudden scored a minute into the game to put the Raiders on the board. Hackett made it 2-0, scoring off a feed from Jessica Wilkinson early in the second half.

Webutuck 7, Rhinebeck 0 — Kaylie Johnson scored three goals and Kenya Blue had four assists to lead visiting Webutuck. Bella Tomasetti scored twice and Sophia Caldas and Caroline Markonic each added a goal.

Sarah Fleischhauer made six saves for Rhinebeck.

Kingston 6, Dover 0 — Aichia Matmati made 23 saves, but it came in a loss for host Dover (3-4-2).

The Dragons host Spackenkill at 4:15 p.m. Friday.

Rondout Valley 6, Spackenkill 0 — Elizabeth Schwoerer made 11 saves in the loss for host Spackenkill (1-8-2).

The Spartans visit Pine Bush at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday.
