PM Nawaz expresses grief and directs authorities to speed up relief efforts
At least 13 people were killed while 10 others were injured Tuesday morning as a rockslide hit some shacks in Karachi’s Gulistan-e-Jauhar area.
Rescue teams along with Rangers arrived at the site and recovered about eight bodies, rescue officials said while adding that “at least six people are still trapped under the debris.”
The incident occurred when a mass of rock and soil fell on a slum from a nearby hill, according to Radio Pakistan.

Prime Minister expresses deep grief, sorrow
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif expressed deep grief and sorrow over the sad demise of 13 people landsliding in Karachi.
Further, PM Nawaz along with directing authorities to provide special medical care to the injured, gave orders to speed up relief efforts and help families of the deceased in every possible way.
