It looks like the Pakistani actress has been inspired by Bollywood actors and films since a young age
The gorgeous Mahira Khan is soaring high these days with her films Ho Mann Jahaan and Raees set to release next year.
She is one of the most influential actresses in the industry right now, but who influenced her? Mahira took to Facebook to reveal which film had the biggest impact on her when she was a teenager:
Pyaasa – a Bollywood film released in 1957 — was directed and produced by maverick Indian filmmaker Guru Dutt. The movie revolves around the life of an unsuccessful poet, played by Dutt himself. In 2005, Time magazine included it as one the 100 best films of all time.
It looks like Mahira has been inspired by Bollywood actors and films since a young age. No wonder she couldn’t stop gushing about SRK in her recent interview with Khaleej Times.
When asked which actor she would want to work with if she were offered another Bollywood film, she firmly replied, “Shah Rukh Khan, again. His energy is infectious. It is very rare that you come across a childhood idol who lives up to your expectations!”
Mahira and SRK also had a cute conversation on Twitter last week over his and Kajol’s monochrome still from Dilwale. The Humsafar actress loved it so much, she decided to tweet about it:
@iamsrk Uffff!You both, Uff!

The Bollywood megastar, who recently wrapped up a schedule for Raees alongside the Pakistani actress, replied to her assuring that the duo will also “look good” in their upcoming film:
@TheMahiraKhan just saw your tweet. ‘Uff’ we will look good in Raees too. Hope all is well with you and family.
