The machine that is Allen football continues to roll on. The Eagles won their 50th consecutive game on Friday as quarterback Seth Green threw five touchdown passes in a 45-13 defeat of Hebron. Allen (7-0) moves up to No. 3 in the Super 25 football rankings with the previous No. 3, St. Thomas Aquinas of Fort Lauderdale, falling to No. 24 with a 6-3 loss to Deerfield Beach.
While Aquinas remained in the rankings despite its loss, three other Super 25 teams dropped out with defeats: St. Joseph Regional (Montvale, N.J.); Mainland (Daytona Beach) and La Salle (Cincinnati). That opened the way for three new teams: No. 22 Grayson (Loganville, Ga.); No. 23 Bingham (South Jordan, Utah) and No. 25 Eden Prairie, Minn.
