PLEASURE RIDGE PARK (4-3) AT BUTLER (2-5)
Bears have won last two meetings, including 28-24 in 2014
* Kickoff: 7 p.m.
* PRP’s run through Louisville’s elite did not go well, as the Panthers were outscored by a combined 109-13 in three straight losses to Trinity, St. Xavier and Male. Running backs Daniel Parker (14 carries, 49 yards) and Montae Robinson (10 carries, 47 yards) were held in check in last week’s 44-0 loss at Male. Marcel Kilgore leads the defense with 51 tackles (20 solo) and two interceptions.
* After a 57-0 loss to Male on Sept. 25, Butler was shut out for the second straight week in a 47-0 loss to Manual last Thursday. The Bears managed just 11 total yards in the loss to Manual and were held to minus-46 on the ground. Butler must get a better performance from a defense that is allowing 35.9 points per game this season.
* Quotable: “From an attitude perspective, I think the guys have handled the last three weeks really well,” PRP coach Jason Hiser said. “I do think we’ve gotten better. We came out flat last week, and you can’t do that against those guys, for sure. But over the last three weeks we’ve had good practices and found some areas where we need to get better.”
* The pick: PRP 31-14.
