An investigation is ongoing at Winthrop (Mass.) High after a picture was taken of a football player in the shower, allegedly by another student, police said.
One student has been suspended, according to the school.
More than 10 students and their parents are being questioned in the investigation, according to NECN News.
“An incident was reported to high school officials yesterday afternoon,” Winthrop School Superintendent John Macero told NECN on Wednesday morning. “At that time the administration began an immediate investigation. While the investigation is ongoing we cannot comment at this time.”
A news conference is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.
Police are investigating the incident and cooperating with the Suffolk District Attorney’s Office. It is not been determined whether charges will be filed.
The team canceled practice Tuesday but is expected to continue preparations Wednesday.
