He’s young, but Cammo Ferrando sure looks like a promising running back to hit the prep level in the years ahead.
Ferrando channeled his inner Tecmo Bowl Bo Jackson while playing fpr the Keizer Celtics. He uses a stiffarm par excellence, adds speed and just enough vision to hit the seam and the corner when needed. Once he gets the corner, he’s pretty tough to bring down.
In fact, Ferrando might be toughest man/man-child/teenager/pre-teen? to tackle since the mythical, unnamed Bo Jackson in the aforementioned Tecmo Bowl game.
That’s high praise, and a tough act to follow. Let’s hope that Ferrando still has years ahead of him, on the field in Keizer and around Oregon and the Pacific Northwest as he moves toward his high school and collegiate years.
