Two big plays were all that Spencer County needed Friday night as the Bears are 7-0 for the first time in school history thanks to their 13-0 victory at North Oldham Friday night.
The Bears jumped out early, capitalizing on a fumble just 1:14 into the game. Logan Holbrook scooped it up and ran 28 for the touchdown. Branden Leff added a 75-yard scoring run in the second quarter.
The rain wreaked havoc on both teams as they combined for at least 13 fumbles. The Bears were averaging 470 yards rushing per game, but had to settle for 174 on 38 carries. North Oldham however struggled for traction as the Mustangs gained 88 yards total.
