The girls soccer team from Franklin D. Roosevelt High School defeated visiting Poughkeepsie 11-0 on Friday.
Abby Thomas, Meagan Marshall and Sydney Currier each scored twice for the Presidents. Shiau-tau Ciecierska, Deirdre Nolan, Alexis Hufnagle, Liz Gable and Natalie Wajda contributed with one goal apiece.
Nolan added two assists, while Marshall, Currier, and Caitlyn Lucarini each had an assist.
Roosevelt hosts Highland at 4:15 p.m. Monday. Poughkeepsie will host Onteora at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday.
Rhinebeck 8, Pine Plains 0 — Michelle Giamportone found the back of the net three times and added three assists to boost the visiting Hawks, who improved to 9-0.
Marissa Giamportone, Libby Callahan, Olivia Lortie, Caroline Voorhis and Libby Mensch each chipped in with a goal apiece. Natalie Hutchins made two assists, while Stephanie Cassens and Brook Platt each had one assist.
“Rhinebeck is a really great team, but I’m proud of my girls,” said Pine Plains coach Sara Taveniere. “We made an improvement defensively and with communication.”
Cathryn Simmons had 18 saves for Pine Plains.
Pine Plains (3-5) visits Spackenkill Monday at 4:15 p.m.
Spackenkill 5, Dover 0 — Gabby Prichard poured in two goals to lead the visiting Spartans.
Brooke Scianna and Eileen Fiore each contributed with a goal apiece to help Spackenkill improve to 8-0.
Dover (6-4) visits Ellenville Monday at 4:15 p.m.
Haldane 1, Putnam Valley 1 — Marina Martin poured one in with two minutes left in regulation to lead the visiting Blue Devils, who tied with the Tigers after double overtime.
Sara Labriola had six saves.
“We were missing three of our key players due to illness,” said Haldane coach Gary Van Asselt. “But we still played like the defending state champs that we are.”
Haldane (7-4-1) visits Peekskill Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
Ossining 6, Our Lady of Lourdes 1 — Kelly Keenan scored the lone goal off an assist by Christa Sparling for visiting Lourdes, as the Warriors fell to 2-7.
Kayla Moschetti and Amber Fischer split time in the net with eight saves and two saves, respectively.
Lourdes visits Mahopac at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
Ellenville 5, Webutuck 0 — Webutuck coach Mark Moren credited Abby Hoke for a “great game” in center midfield and sweeper in the second half, but the host Warriors fell to 1-7.
Kate Louey had five saves in goal for Webutuck.
JoAnna Craft had a hat trick for Ellenville. “(Craft) had a really good game for Ellenville as one of their strikers,” said Moren.
Webutuck (1-7) visit Millbrook Monday at 6 p.m.
Ryan Euell scored twice to lead Rhinebeck to a 4-0 win over host Millbrook.
Adrian Cruz and Walter Gadsby each added a goal for the Hawks. Spencer Hutchins made seven saves in goal for Rhinebeck, which visits Onteora at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday.
Millbrook beat John A. Coleman Catholic 2-1 in overtime late Thursday. Ryan Rosensweig scored both goals for the Blazers.
Andrew Radovic had five saves for Millbrook (5-5), which hosts Webutuck at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday.
Arlington B 8, Peekskill 2 — Nik Baginski had two goals and an assist to lead host Arlington B. Kyle Traver and Ethan Doughty each added a goal and an assist. Andrew Markoe, Connor Bruyn and Austin Grossman each also scored. Preston Hill, Michael Vankiotis, Reed Burton and Zack Ymbras each had an assist.
The Admirals (6-3) visits Lourdes at noon Saturday.
Highland 1, Marlboro 0 — Ryan Sorbello scored the only goal on an assist from Colin Ivich late Thursday. Arthur Worrad made three saves in goal.
Anthony LoPiccolo made four saves for the Iron Dukes.
Lakeland 3, Beacon 2 — David Adams and Kevin Lambe each scored for visiting Beacon (6-3). Lambe scored off a pass from Brandon Bernardi with five minutes left in regulation for Beacon. Declan Costello made five saves.
The Bulldogs host Peekskill at 3 p.m. Saturday.
