Allen (Texas) ran its winning streak to 49 games, equaling the second-longest winning streak in Texas history, with a 52-7 win against Lewisville.
No. 4 Allen, playing its first road game of the season, ties the mark set by Abilene (1954-57) and equaled by Southlake Carroll (2004-07). The longest winning streak is 68 by Celina from 1998 to 2002.

Lewisville took a 7-0 lead in the game on a 7-yard touchdown pass with 8:06 left in the first quarter. The Farmers would not score again. Allen scored twice before the end of the first quarter for a 14-7 lead.
Kirby Bennett ran for three touchdowns and 135 yards.
Neither Allen QB, Mitchell Jonke or Seth Green, had much cause to throw the ball. Jonke threw for 87 yards and ran for 111. Green had two touchdown passes among his six completions for 73 yards. He also ran for 30 yards.
In all, Allen outgained Lewisville 581-126. Lewisville finished with seven first downs.
Allen goes into the bye week with a 6-0 record.
