Gunshots interrupted play after the second half kickoff of the game in St. Louis between Vashon and Gateway on Friday night.
Players and coaches on both teams and fans all hit the ground. St. Louis Police were unable to identify where the shots were coming from. According to the St. Louis Post Dispatch, witnesses said about seven shots were fired and that a person was found in a car with a gunshot wound about a mile away. No one inside the stadium was injured.
After a brief delay, the coaches and officials went to midfield and decided to resume play.
