Chances are, it may be the biggest Western North Carolina Athletic Conference football game of the year once again.
And it won’t played at either Franklin or Pisgah.
The Panthers (3-2, 1-0)) and Black Bears (4-1, 1-0) have agreed to move Friday’s matchup to a neutral site with an artificial turf field (Cherokee).
Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. from Kinsland Stadium.

Friday was supposed to be a home game for Franklin which won last year in Canton, 26-3. The Panthers are the two-time defending WNCAC champions. Pisgah has been the second-place WNCAC team the past two years.
