Maybe the dingo didn’t eat her baby, after all.
Charlie Hall, the son of “Seinfeld” and “Veep” star Julia Louis-Dreyfus, is doing just fine. After a successful basketball career at Santa Monica (Calif.) Crossroads School, he will be a walk-on at Northwestern this winter.
Hall averaged 15.3 points, 11 rebounds and five assists as a high school senior this past season, leading the Roadrunners to a 14-12 record and a berth in the Division 5AA Southern Section quarterfinals — their best finish since former NBA players Austin Croshere and Baron Davis led Crossroads to state titles in the 1990s.
As you can see from the above four-minute highlight video posted to YouTube by his father Brad Hall — also a Northwestern and “Saturday Night Live” product like his longtime wife Julia — the 6-5, 192-pound Charlie is a sweet-shooting southpaw with an awkward release (not that there’s anything wrong with that), a nice floater in the lane (double dip?) and a knack for the rebound (man hands!).
Oh, yeah, Charlie’s ready. Charlie’s got some new moves. Check Charlie out.
No soup for you! OK, enough of the “Seinfeld” references. Yada, yada, yada. Get out!
