Financial bill enacted today, 33 percent of MPs salaries quietly
Islamabad: President signed the Finance Bill 2015-16. After the signing of the formal financial bill which became Act will take effect from July.
Financial summary of the bill was sent to the President. According to the Express representative government finance bill to increase the salaries of MPs has quietly amended. MPs’ salaries and allowances of the 1974 Act amended under Article 3 of the salary of Rs 27 thousand 377 has been increased from Rs 36 thousand 423.
Thus parliamentarians’ salaries were increased by 33 percent, while sessions are in addition to the allowance and other benefits. The decline in financial difficulties and inflation under the cover just half the salaries of civil servants has been increased by 7%. 2 ad hoc and relief adding 11% increase in basic pay is being comforted by increasing the salaries of MPs but neither the government nor any difficulty remembered inflation.
In addition, section 10 of the Act has been amended to a sub-clause under which MPs inland rail and air travel 3 million annually to facilitate the submission of vouchers has been abolished. MPs will air travel through PIA and PIA and Pakistan Railways will provide the government with travel expenses. Moreover, the Act has been amended in clause 13, under which the government assurances committee, the Committee on issues of backward areas, Committee on Human Rights and the Committee on the rules of other standing committees concessions have been won over.
